Thursday, August 21, 2008 WOOOOOOOOOOOO! ok i didnt attend school, again. i had my reasons, plus i wanted to sleep more so that i wont feel sleepy during my oral. (: i woke up at 10 plus ? i slept at 12 midnight. 10 hours of sleep. (: i actually woke up early, just that i forced myself to sleep. okok here was my plan for today. wake up at 7.30pm, wear a pe shirt and shorts and head over to mac until my mummy's out of the house. but i was SO SLEEPY, my alarm rang. i offed it and went back to sleep. i woke up, my mummy was still at home. for once she didn't nag about me not going to school again. lol. read breaking dawn. so far so good. better than all the three other series. bathed then went to school. took a 145 bus to redhill then changed to the 33 bus. (: i was kind of nervous that i felt like shitting. i'm serious. well, thank God after consulling myself i felt less nervous. (: sat with cheer huay, qiao fen and dawn. i was giving them advice. and they too gave me some (: they were not. you cannot hold the paper up cannot touch. then i was thinking of mr koh saying that the examiner wont say "ARGH YOU TOUCH THE PAPER! FAIL FAIL!" hahah and his actions to it was funny (: anw, i was the third person. everyone has 10 mins to read, and i thougt it was only 6 mins. first time in history i didnt feel nervous. i actually felt excited for it (: i read the passage out loud twice to myself so that i wont trip onto words. and saw the picture. through what mr koh had taught us for oral, i predicted what they wanted and thought of what to say. which was the perfect deal because what i thought of they actually asked. i spent really little time on the picture. i only described that lady and a boy. it's only two short paragraphs. they only asked two questions. at the end they asked if i had anything i want to add on. i said no. so they moved on to the conversation. first question was "if you can set up a business, what bussin would it be" i told them i would be a fashion designer and i would want to have my own brand. i talked about what i was facing, my dad not wanting me to go that direction because he was afraid that i might regret. WAH TALK ON THIS TOPIC DAMN LONG. they were very interested in it. im serious. they asked me questions that are not in the paper that they're suppose to ask because they asked about my life related questions. i was very enthu to talk about my dream. i made them lagh a few times which i dont really remember what i said. well, my enthu didnt last long when i told them about my dad not wanting me to take up fashion, i kind of felt upset. they asked me like what will you do to persuade your dreams then if your dad wouldn't allow it ? i was like, i'll prove to him that i can and my mum is also trying to persuade him. yeah they asked alot like what's my dad's job because i told them my dad went out of business. anw. i think the next question was what's one of your strength that you have to overcome the situation that i'm in. i was like the encouragement that people can give me. then they stopped and said that the encouragement is considered an external affair. what about in you. haha. i forgot how i replied to this because i didnt know. (: next topic. what are your views on woman who is both career minded and also have a family. ( something like that) i gave them my views like it's really tough to juggle both the career and the family. i gave them examples like my mother. i told them i had 3 siblings, two younger and one older. and my mummy's working hours and how she has to work hard everyday just so that we wont starve. and how much she had done for us. how much she had suffered for us. she tries very hard to make us happy. even though she suffers, she doesn't mind and i appreciate that. then they went on to the next topic. "so what can the government do to help these woman" i said this. Paid leave. and they started laughing again. i was like was it funny or was it because i said it and then smiled. i dont know. then blah blah blah. last question. what are the advantages and disadvantages about having to have a business at home. i only gave one answer for each. i had only of hand actions. i mean i got kind of carried away. it feel as if i was talking to two friends. they were really nice and comfortable to talk to. i didnt even feel nervous about sitting infront of the examiners. honestly, i even forgot that i was having my O levels oral. hrmms when i got out. i realise i could have added more to the last question. oh well. hrmms they said i talked pretty long. and i showed them all my actions. qiao fen was like, you're so drama. i was like. hrmms alright. man somehow i felt that i didnt do well. really. joanne was like. when the examiners asked you if you have anything to add on to the picture. it means that they wanted to hear more. i was like. dang dang dang. somehow i feel that i cannot get what i'm aiming for. a 10/12 for reading. a 10/12 for picture and a 14/16 for conversation. man. okok we were all discussing about how to pronounce the word medicine. i was like. HUH I THOUGHT IT'S ME-DI-CINE. then they were like med-cine blah blah blah. wooo, i just checked the dictionary. i pronounced it correctly (: wooo oral's OVER! after oral hanged around with kim they all. talked about our examiners. thank God mine was the center one. from what i heard the other two side the examiners sound scary. the left side one of them is like yang mehmeh and she was like having PMS. like saying i dont want to hear that. if you were to say this earlier instead of that it would have been better. basically like scolding them. the other side is like sleeping. LOL. yeah. Thank the Lord. (: studied. well sort of. in the library with naz and the others. mr tan went through SBQ with qiao fen, seiow ping and some random guy. he went through R.I.C.E which was what i already know, but i shall sit in and learn something. which i did. (: left at 6pm. took 196 and then 176 home. (: wooo. im at page 450 of breaking dawn. weets. (: words spilled @ 8:58 PM /
