Yo man. Okay, I'm going to bring you to a little tour around hong kong. :D anw, there's some problem with blogger ? I DONT KNOW WHERE TO CLICK TO UPLOAD IMAGE AND VIDEOS!
Okay on the 15th of July, my baby and I went to changi airport at 1plus to get our tickets. we got on the plane at about 3.20pm. flew to hong kong and reached at 7pm. there were LOTS of mountains. hahaha, which reminds me of something stupid. I remember myself asking Alex and Kim this question during geography class "so less than 600m it's a hill, more than 600m it's a mountain, then what do you call the middle one" both of them looked confused then started laughing, i was like what ? really what is it called ? and then they repeated this line like twice before i got it. "valerie, less than 600m hill, more than 600m mountain." LOL. i felt so dumb. those were the days...
we went to buy the octopus card. 3days unlimited with 2 airport express for HKD300 each. took a train down to the end of the red line on the left hand side. went to check into our hotel room. this is how small the room is...

small hor ? it's 50bucks for a night. we stayed for 4 nights. (:
im not a big fan of aircon, but every night were freaking cold ): i think the air con temperature tuner is spoiled cause the button that you turn to lower of make the temp high spring is lose, so that no "tick tick" sound and it moves very easily. it feels like 16 Degree Celsius. yeah.
Day 2, 16th July.
Went to have breakfast at yoshinoya. the beef tasted better than Singapore's beef rice bowl. yummy! then we went to prince edward. went to a mall, it feels like far east, things there aint cheap. yeah. wanted to walk down, like follow the mrt line, but the mrt was underground so we didnt know which direction to go. hahah. we went back to the station and train down one stop. mongkok. went to ladies street. seriously, it's like a pasar malam. selling super fake goods, like gucci. and most of the stalls are selling the same thing. there was only one stall that sells teenage clothing. the rest was like fake bags. lots of stalls display like pictures of the LV, Gucci bags on a table. and i wanted to get one grade A stuff. (: so i approach one of the store and looked at the pictures of many other bags not displayed out in the open. they don't have all the bags that were in the folder they showed me. sad. i bought one which took them damn long to take it out. i told them i wanted a particular bag, they took out many other different bags from what i wanted and i told them i don't like those. thy tried telling me this is nicer, the one i wanted, only aunty carries it -.- they took out like 3 bags and each one they took about 10mins to get them. waste my time. one of the unknown owners said i was very mafan in chinese. i was like, me mafan ? i wanted this particular bag and you're bringing out different bags. dude if your friend had taken out that bag I wouldn't have wasted your buddy's time and trip. finally they took out the one i wanted and of cause i bought it. you know what puzzles me is, they display pictures of LV bags and others on the table. then when you want something then only will they go to somewhere to get it (and i dont know where they go to get it, it's not in the shops) I thought they you know, when police comes they would just hide the pictures but when i was buying a white LV for Joce, there was a policeman patrolling and woman didn't keep the pictures. hrmms. ohwell. then we head down one stations to only disappoint ourselves. temple street is not open, some of the stalls are open but it looks like things auntie and uncles would buy. yeah. so we took a train down to prince edward to get some stuff then head back to the hotel to put our stuff down. (: then head out again!

Day 3, 17th July
We went to Ocean park. it aint big and it looks old. HAHAHAH. only the mind train was a thriller, the rest of the rides, NO KICK. not much rides too. we went at 10.30 came out at about 3. nothing much there. seriously, it didn't wow me.
here are some pictures.

this was the ride that i took the last and tried to avoid. it's like 10 storey high. and as many of you know. I'M SUPER AFRAID OF HEIGHTS! i don't even know how this phobia came about. i want to overcome it, but i just dont know how. i often tried going up to a tall building with glass window and force myself to look out or look down. and eventually I'll get used to it, but it's only for that certain building. zzz. i was like, baby i don't wanna sit on that, but the other side of me got the better of me. okay in me I have two sides, one is the safe taker and the other is the risk taker. well, im more of a risk taker than the safe one, that is why i sat on that. as it got up, i got really scared. it was super high and i was super scared. i was like "oh God, save me... I don't want to take this anymore!" when it was already halfway up in the air. when it stop at the top i was like "Oh Father Oh Lord, Save me Save me, I dont want to take this, Oh Father help me" and it was like you're about to die with those facial express that i said all those. i was so FREAKING Scared! i opened and closed my eyes because it was so freaking high. if i took a video of myself up there you would probably laugh. my face looked as if im about to cry and i was like praying for God to save me. hahahahahahha. then it was up in the air for 5 seconds. i was like. NO NO NO LORD SAVE ME! and it went down. i screamed. when it stopped i was like, dude i don't feel a thing it was like wind blowing upwards. my heart didn't sink when it dropped. i was like. huh, why did i scream ? it's not scary at all, then when it went halfway up and dropped again i was like telling ivan how not fun this thing was, when it was dropping. yeah i spoke throughout the whole ride and telling him how dumb i felt. to think that it was totally scary.

That's Ocean Park. Big ? nope. Fun ? not really. Hot? SUPER i got sun burn! and most of the time we were looking for shelter and air con. would i recommend this theme park ? nope. it's my first time here, and i was quite disappointed.
after Ocean park, we went back to the hotel. I napped awhile. one hour later we head out, we went to prince edward fist because i wanted to get a pair of heels i saw and couldn't get over it. cost me HKD 495! expensive stuff. then we went walking around, went Jordan then to mongkok. they had ALOT OF NIKE, ADDIDAS ETC SHOES! oh ya Hong Kong people LOVE to wear those brand. the whole road were filled with sports shoe shop! that many. hehe.

Day 4. 18th July.

Yeah it was disappointing. it's not very big, we finished walking in within 4hours ? this includes stopping at all stores ans waiting for rides (which we only took a few and the queue aint long) there was only one roller coaster in the whole theme back, and it's indoor roller coaster. sian. this disneyland is more for kids. so many kiddy rides. yeah. we wanted to take the car one, but there was a typhoon level 3 so they close all rides at 3plus only stores are open. they canceled all the road shows as well. sian. wanted to drive lo.... then take the train around disneyland. ): level 3 ? feels like a breeze. zzz. we left at 4pm. disappointed lo. nothing much there. food were pricey and tasted average. oh well. 70bucks ? not worth the cash at all, trust me. when night came, typhoon was still level 3. i was like it feels like a breeze, why must you close all the rides. walao man. yeah. then we walked around that area which our hotel was in. lots of cheap cheap trendy shoes! hehe. baby got his nike shoe for 80 singbucks! :D went back to the hotel and watched some tv. the newscaster told us to check with our airlines if there was any change of flight timing because typhoon is expected to reach level 8. baby called jetstar and they said the timing was change from 8am to 2.40pm. I WAS LIKE YES! this means i can sleep MORE! wooooohooooooo. hehe.

19th July. Checked out, took a train the airport. watched what happens in vegas until we were reaching Singapore. (: reached at about 7plus plus. (: home sweet home. (: oh hong kong feels like singapore to me. except it's abit older. everything here in Singapore is VERY similar with Hong Kong. like the MRT, buses, taxi, buildings exactly the same except the colours.
